The German Countryside

After I was in Paris I went to Mauschbach, Germany. Yes, I'm sure you are wondering where that is, it is a small town in southwest Germany right next to the French boarder. Population approx. 250 haa. I wound up there to visit a friend who lived in good ol Litchpatch for a year as an exchange student while I was a senior in High School.  Larissa and her parents, Werner and Martina welcomed me into their home for a few days and showed me incredible hospitality. While I was there I had a few first experiences ; my first football (soccer) game, my first time eating that many types of German sausage, and my first time at the Europa amusement park (a step up from valley fair).  I am completely sold on the countryside of southwest Germany, it was beautiful!  A special thanks to the Haefners family, you made my trip especially wonderful!

German countryside

Scottish cows are pretty cute

The famous Mauschbach!

My first football game, i'm glad I survived!

I guess you could say this was a little Pep rally
I guess that guy didn't want to smile.
Beep Beep, team coming through.
Just a little encouragement on their way to the stadium.
And we can't forget to welcome the opponent.....

The bright yellow people are saving the opponents from the rest of the fans.....
I would fear for my life if I was them.
It was a full house.
Game ended 1-1

Well, yes, I found some sweets!

Spaghetti ice :)
Fair sweets
Little sugar yummies (I don't know the name)
Next stop, Europa Park!

My short little visit to Germany was wonderful!
